Hökarängsskolan includes grades 1-9 and preschool as well as after-school care, leisure clubs, and adapted primary school. The school serves approximately 550 students and 110 staff. Hökarängsskolan aims to be a school for everyone: The staff should be engaged and have high expectations of each other, themselves, and the students. The students should be engaged, participatory, and responsible.

Your role

We are looking for a school caretaker with great commitment to their role! To thrive with us, you need to be social and outgoing, as well as have a high degree of service orientation. You are both flexible and a problem solver. You need to be able to work independently and have the ability to take your own initiatives and prioritize. It is crucial that you can collaborate and maintain good relationships with the school's staff, administrators, contractors, and other external partners.

The tasks are varied and diverse, for example:

• Property maintenance and reporting issues
• Repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Service to staff and students
• Systematic work environment efforts
• Systematic fire safety work
• Various purchases
• Relocation of premises
• Lock and alarm systems
• Receiving deliveries
• Technical installations and IT support as needed

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone with experience in school caretaker roles. As a person, you are cooperative, stress-resistant, and have good social skills. We place high demands on independence and planning ability. It is advantageous if you have worked in the city of Stockholm, as you are well acquainted with all routines and systems.

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
IT skills, including the Office suite.
Basic handyman skills.
